Yet Another Tough Loss
After a great outing from Tim Redding the Mets dropped tonight’s game to the Phillies 4-1.
The loss is tough since Redding put up 5 strong innings…yet it just doesn’t feel like a big loss to a divisional rival, since the team that went out there tonight in Mets uniforms looked nothing like the one that’s helped build thus rivalry over the past few years.
It’s too bad that a late August series between these two teams could have been so meaningful and exciting.
so, as it stands now, with two games left in this series, it’s all tied up at a game each.
