Mr. Mets Fan Club

This season is over.  The Mets should do whatever they can to be sure they are competitive next year.  They shoud also stop going after aged stars, i.e. Delgado and Castillo.

Beyond that, I understand the Mets are lowering prices.  What about those of us who bought tickets in advance at full price?

You don’t want to hear my thoughts on Martinez pitching for the Phills… But there is a bigger than injuries reason that the Mets are 11 games out of first place and the Phills have been #1 most of the season… I’m not saying that Martinez is our answer, but neither is Omar.. When upper management gives up on the team half way through the season it is hard to watch the players on the field going through the motions.. I’m glad I didn’t buy season tickets…

It’s time for Jerry to stop babying these guys and GET TOUGH. Crack the whip Jerry. They get paid FAR TOO MUCH to NOT RUN OUT EVERY HIT, even the weak ones. TOO much NOT to run out EVERY FLY BALL THAT COMES TO THEM in the field. I’ll do the job for a FRACTION of what they make right now.
