User Submission: Mets Need a Wholesale Rebuild!
We will need a new catcher next year, Adam LaRoche at 1B, Orlando Hudson or Chone Figgins at 2B, Reyes and Wright at SS and 3B, an outfield of Francouer, Beltran, and a big power hitting LF. Jason Bay, Carl Crawford, or Matt Holliday. And, yes, we will need to go after a bonafide #2 pitcher. Delgado, Wagner, Schnieder, Sheffield, Tatis, Cora, they all need to go. I would keep Pagan for the bench. I would trade Murphy & Evans. They dont have the power or speed to be sucessful at Citi Field. We need to rebuild the team for Citi Field.
